REAL ESTATE TRANSFER TAX RETURN BASIC RULES

There is no tax period for real estate transfer tax.

Tax return should be submitted by the end of the third calendar month following the calendar month in which ownership change was recorded in the land registry.

A real estate transfer tax prepayment of 4% of agreed price should be paid.

The prepayment is due on the last day of tax return deadline.

If final tax is higher than the prepayment, the difference is due in 30 days after the tax assessment is delivered to the tax payer.
